Idk why people are giving you shite about not knowing this.
My vehicle did the same thing last year and I didnt know why it started doing it as well. I mean, I did use common sense to think maybe that was a possibility, but I didnt know for sure.
For me, it was my first car that I had gotten in 2006 and it was new, so I never had my signal light go out. If it has never happened to you and you are in a similar scenario, I dont think it would just be a common knowledge thing to know for sure.

Lights need to be replaced. It will do that and when burnt out it will just become solid and not blink when turning it on.
