There's wasn't a fight. Only one punch was thrown and it didn't end up in his opponent's favor.

He was on the Miami staff at the time but the incident took place in BR.

My CSB: A friend of mine was at an NSU-ULM (then called NLU)game. He was wearing an NLU sweater and Coach O walked up and wanted to fight him.

Funny that the Orgeron story was the headline there. The story below it about the UM academic advisor falsifying Pell Grant applications is about the scandal that would eventually sink the program for the rest of the 90's. The magnitude of the scandal obviously wasn't known at the time that article was written.
