I'm certain it won't take you long to find something to whine about.

I for one am happy as shite! Not one more game of the that predictably hot garbage. I felt so bad for our players!
So excited to be a positiger once again!

Naw - we'll find somebody else. It's in our DNA>

No. He's like that hemorrhoid the size of a BB I had 20 or so years ago, unforgettable ancient history

I'm like that guy that has hit the end of the internet. Now what?

I had to quit watching LSU games with 'LSU fans' because I was so tired of their whining about Les and clock management and toss dive. They LIVED for finding any perceived mistake by Les to reaffirm their Einsteinish football skills and Miles' buffonery. Saban loses to Ole Miss 2 straight years and it's the players fault. Saban blows the iron bowl on a 4049 yard field goal and it's the players fault, LSU's offensive line gets their lazy arse kicked by a bunch of pale faced yankees and Les can't coach.
As much as I'll miss Les, I'm somewhat consoled by the reality that I won't have to listen to 3 time losers explaining why the winningest coach LSU history is a moron
Long Live Les

Hell. It is arguable that on the day they were hired, fans were happier about hallman than about Saban
What site were you on in 1991 & 1999 that you were able to get such a definitive outlook on the fanbases attitude?

Absolutely. He had beaten Auburn and Fla State. That was 4 miserable years. I was at 58-3.

I remember thinking it was a great sign that LSU was willing to pay a coach big money and step back into the big boy arena of college football.
Saban was interesting because he was known to be a real good football coach, good enough to have NFL teams interested.
The commitment to going big was made by LSU, but the expectations weren't nearly as high or as passion fueled. Nobody was demanding NCs, we just wanted to never see a 3-8 season again, and actually get to the SEC championship game like Miss St.

Nope. I fee reborn. LSU football is interesting again, now that we've cast off the albatross.

I downvoted you, but i have to admit... That statement is probably correct. It was a time when you knew very little about a coach, save for something like USM beating FSU and Bama. Nowadays, you can know everything about a guy and his program in a minute.

I feel like a lead lid was taken off the magical box that is LSU football, the possibilities are endless...
... until we see what's in the box. I'll reserve the right to be a doubting thomas and negatiger until that time.
Until then, it's a whole new [football] world!
