him, with aranda would be the southpark meme with the computer screen covered in a bunch of man gravy.

i believe he's going to try and stick it out in the nfl, probably as an ego thing....but he was very complimentary and impressed with the size and speed of d linemen in the sec. he knew he would never get that much d talent out west consistently.

would be interesting to see his interest if the 9'ers start to falter and he's already being pushed out or just not interested in san fran.......but, i believe he either stays in the nfl until ran off, or stays out west in college again eventually.

With as much arse as he would kick, you'd better believe it...cold personality be damned.

I've said it before, his system with LSU athletes would be frightening.

It would be a longer rebuild under Kelly as he would have to rerecruit almost the entire offense to fit his system.

But give him a couple of years and he would be the one pushing Saban out of the league.

I said it once and I'll say it again: No. Being a HC is much more than coming in and putting out a sexy offense. Personality plays a lot in this too and Kelly is the last guy who would fit Baton Rouge. He'd lose his locker room too as he's not a very likable coach as you saw at Eagles and he was starting to have problems in Oregon his last years there. He's a good coach but if the players don't like you and you can't relate to them they're not going to play for you. See how San Francisco went full retard and got rid a VERY good coach in Harbaugh who not only made Stanford a powerhouse but achieved more in first few years in the NFL than any other coach ever. They ran him out because players didn't want to play for him. Kelly would have a similar problem here eventually.

You don't just look at a coach and say he's great on paper I think he can win here! You have to analyze everything. Does he fit into the culture of Baton Rouge? Does he have the personality the players will respect? Will the alumni/boosters like him? How good can he recruit and fit in with Southern culture where he'll be doing the majority of his recruiting? A lot more goes into it than you think. The only person I can honestly say makes the most sense to come to Baton Rouge on everything is Jimbo Fisher. That's without even knowing for sure he could come in and do well in the SEC.

Not sure I'm ready for 62-51 (2012 at USC) or 57-34 (vs Arkansas State) final scores. That would drive me crazy.

I want a high powered offense but I also want some defense too. His offenses were never effective vs SEC schools.
