Etling is better.. but is his arm weak?

He seems to have a noodle arm and throws balls that will be dangerous against more talented athletes.

His arm isn't as strong as Harris obviously, but I think it's much stronger than Hatch's. It's definitely strong enough. I don't see his arm strength playing into whether or not he is successful.

There are QBs in the NFL with worse arms.
He throws with touch. I guess Harris has even brain washed our fans into thinking harder is better

I don't think it's an arm strength problem. I think he puts too much air under his throws. The out route to Dupre (I think) to the right side had a lot of air under it. He also did this with the throw to Fournette as he was scrambling to the right and Fournette took off up the sideline. Seems like when there is a defender underneath he puts too much air under it.
Definitely a correctable problem that will come with experience.

Etlings got a good arm. He will gain more confidence as the season goes on which imo is why he's putting too much touch at times. When he needs to he can put some velocity on the ball. He just needs to trust himself a little more when he puts some juice on it.
