Just looking at him you can gather that he wasn't exactly what higher education was looking for, so was welcomed to the force with open arms!

Not long ago, they'd likely make an excuse for him, no matter how implausible.
Cops may finally be learning that they need to police their own, apologize when they screw up, and quit covering shite up with lies.
They might earn some credibility that way.
