Apparently. Paul Johnson's interviewing Ellis Johnson for the DC job. So go ahead and hire him already Les.

Also heard from a friend of mine that goes to GT that the "buzz" on campus is that Tanuta was on his way to LSU....hope so!

I think its a done deal with everyone filling DC positions and Tenuta still being out there....

Tenuta still has to coach the bowl game for GT. I would say that Les is just waiting for the game to be played.

Not upgrade- GT apparently wasnt going to match what LSU is offering for Tenuta

I was very suprised to learn that Georgia Tech pays Tenuta $400,000 - I thought LSU would be able to blow GT out of the water on salary.
If Tenuta is LSU bound - which looks quite possible - it's probably more about LSU being more of a launching pad to a HC job, than about money.
One thing for sure, the D will be exciting if Tenuta is the DC.
