Ted is Ted Castillo. A long-time sports writer who is very well-respected in journalism circles. Yes, he's old but Ted is well-liked among reporters and still has a sharp mind despite his issues after a stroke.

There was a report he tweeked his back or something but then there was video of him throwing. Could have just been some work to loosen up his back.
