It's usually going to be bad when even the OP doesn't have an iconic photo

It means plenty to bama fans who followed the team the previous 15 years and for the school to have its first heisman winner
Pretty hilarious that Mark Ingram is the first Heisman rb for Bama and is such a bore in the NFL. That offensive line won the trophy for him.

He's actually one of the more successful heisman trophy winners from his decade.

What he's done at the Saints can't be described as anything except lackluster

Which makes him a great fit for the franchise.

God, thanks for the memory.

And the deliberate (illegal kick to keep it alive) - what a way to win a title by Nebraska...by a toe.

I see a lot of pictures of iconic moments, but are there actually any iconic pictures from the BCS/playoff era? I'm starting to think there aren't, because no one has produced one yet in this thread.

I think there are very few iconic photos of college football that even exist. The only one in this thread is Desmond Howard, but that's not recent. The Flutie screen cap just illustrates the fact that a lot of iconic moments don't have a universally recognized high-quality photo that captures the moment.

Here's another old example. Everyone recognizes this moment 34 years later, and it's a great photograph. How many iconic photos of college football are there really?
