Just love how he was getting everybody involved in the attack, was just remarkable to watch.

I just landed in Philly on a late night flight, didn't get to watch the game. Cliff notes on what he did? I had 5 texts saying basically "Holy shite Pulisic is amazing."

Literally everything good that happened tonight on the attacking end heavily involved him. He was taking defenders on, tracking back on defense as well, and unlocked our offense.
He was our best player on the field.

He's going to be special. Nice couple games and promising lead into the Hez.

He's just so smart and almost always makes the right decision regarding when to go forward into space, when to pass, when to retain possession, and when to go at defenders. He's got the right mindset. It makes me pretty confident of his continued success.
So awesome news and not so awesome news;: a seventeen year old is our best player right now
Also impressed with Kljestan. So much was running through him and Pulisic.

Another thing to take away from that graphic - WE ACTUALLY HAVE SHAPE NOW

Jozy and Wood need to work on their spacing and their runs. They are overlapping on that diagram above.

I haven't been following US Soccer much lately. Work is crazy busy and my wife had a baby, so I wasn't to up to date on this kid.
But good god he looks incredible. What is his realistic ceiling? Top 5 player in the world? The way be distributed the ball was simply brilliant. At 17.

Impossible to say since he's so young, but his potential is immense. He could end up being our best player of all time at this rate.
Pulisic is humble, hard working, and has the right mentality to succeed as a professional. It's great to see in a player so talented.

I thought he was excellent. However, I wonder in what ways Jurgen limited him. Not saying goes it was a bad thing, but he kept doing the same move near the box and tried to get a cross off. Sometimes he had a guy open in the middle of the box that he could have passed to without trying for the cross. I wonder if he was told, "You do this thing going well. Stick to that this game and we'll go from there." It could be a way to make the game easier for him, so I'm not criticizing him for it. Just curious if CP just didn't see these passes, or if he was told to stick to the plan.

Eh, I think you are being a bit overcritical. He had a lot of give and go's and his movement is tremendous. He made some crosses but that's literally what most of the top wingers in the world do as well.
Soccer is a sport designed to make you fail. Even the best in the world have poor touches occasionally and don't deliver the perfect pass. On average, CP did the right thing last night.
We can nitpick examples (breakaway steal and he passes behind Morris) but I don't think that's a fair analysis.

consider the competition, but I love being able to score goals that don't require a set piece.

I'm not sure how the graphic works exactly, but them overlapping could be good if it's an "aggregate position."
They should be linked and close to each other most of the time. The fact that their aggregate position is central and close is good if the graphic means what I think it means.

He has a ton of potential, but is there a concern that he will get pushed around when we play good teams. Messi is an inch shorter and has almost 10lbs on him.

More concern on that for me when we go up against the Honduras, Mexicos and Panamas of the world.
Still he has shown so far that he plays bigger than his size.

Yeah. He seemed to hold is own vs Ecuador physically. That said, I saw the Argentina game in person, and he was falling down several times via contact.
only time I saw him look like a 17yr old, but that's arguably the best team in the world.
