Can't believe they're still ranked.

Wisky got too much of a bounce.

How the frick did Oklahoma stay at 13?

a loss doesn't automatically mean a team should drop.

Houston is legit. The game was in Houston, so effectively a home game for Houston.

And the game was statistically even. OU even gave up a 100 yard return off a missed long FG, just like Auburn did to Bama a couple year ago.

So keeping OU at 13 seems reasonable.

Deserved.

Previously, we might have dropped only to 10 or so.

But now--rightly--the pundits/coaches/voters have seen through the Miles smokescreen.

Miles is starting to badly damage the LSU brand now--all the more reason to pull the plug before more long-term damage is done.

if wisconsin is #16, a 2 point loss on the road doesn't seem like it should justify being dropped 17 spots. Yeah it was a terrible loss, but that seems like an overreaction.

Agreed. I am for LSU in all things all the time and could care less than a damn about punishing LSU with some got-d*mned poll to prove a point to some pundit!LSU losing on a not-so-neutral site by 2 points to a good football team should not warrant a drop in the polls of 16 spots if you are crazy enough to trust a preseason poll to begin with. No matter what we think of the offense and Les and whoever else is blamed for the issues, the polls are all bullsh*t and this is further proof of it. What makes people think that the polls are so "right" this week? How do we suddenly place so much stock in what the polls say if we didn't feel like they were always right to begin with? I have never placed stock in them as they are only meant to drive passion/ratings/money for the sport. They don't give a damn about LSU in general and the reaction for LSU fans help drive the response by poll members in some cases so, f*&K the polls! Next up is JSU and I want to see this team get out there and right the ship and play up to expectations. And then do so each week after that until the season ends and then the glorified playoff committee will be all that matters! We didn't live up to our own lofty expectations last week and as far as I am concerned Wisconsin is over with and the season is one only game deep out of 12. Les deserves criticism and his failures or successes will be accounted for but not at the expense of me speaking negatively in public forums of any kind about LSU! LSU until I die is what matters to me and Geaux Tigers all day every day!!

Oh and f*&%! Bama!!

Good. Make it hurt. Another week being the national embarrassment. How long could this continue. Maybe years.

I expected us to be right around 20, so I agree. One guy on ESPN was making the case that UW should come in at #5. All of us watching (all Badger fans) literally laughed out loud at the absurdity of it.

So any hopes of reaching the playoff are basically out the window.

Hopes are still there. We must win out...not sure that is a reality after that mess we just witnessed. I suddenly believe we may lose 4-5 games.
