Fournette's career at Lsu looking a lot like Shaq's

Shaq was the best player in the country with great talent all around him at Lsu with mediocre results.
His three years at Lsu was terrible team wise. Shaq was doubled and tripled teamed and still produced at a high level. I don't recall Shaq winning a SEC title but I do remember early exits out the The NCAA Tourney with 4 NBA players in the starting five.
Shaq was the #1 overall pick and became one of the most dominant players in NBA history. He ended his career with 4 rings and 3 finals MVPs amongst numerous other awards.
Shaquille is one of the most recognizable people in the world and is an excellent ambassador for Lsu.
I hope this is what Leonard's NFL career looks like in 10 years.
Just like Dale, Les do not posses the coaching skills to win with a once in a lifetime college player with a talented supporting cast.
Damn Shame!!! Brady some how made a final four appearance With his group of future NBA players.
So for all of you who says LSU should keep miles because the next coach maybe worse. There is proof that a competent coach can come in and win at a high level.

Fournette's so golden there's no doubt he'll be a superstar at the next level.

He sure looked like they were finding it pretty easy to swipe at his feet and take him down. I haven't watched, couldn't stand, it again but I thought he looked easy to tackle in the first half

Probably so, but it's a tragedy that arguably the best college running back to ever come out of Louisiana will leave LSU without a championship of any kind.

Those early tourney exits were because Shaq could not hit a FT and all opposing coaches knew it.
Avoid revisionist history.
A team with Chris Jackson, Clarence Cesar, Vernel Singleton, Stanley Roberts, and Shaq....all to waste thanks to the Hack-a-Shaq..,which easily worked.
But hey...he sure could dunk.

AMEN. I've thought the same thing many times

In 2nd round loss to Indiana Shaq went 12 for 12 from free throw line.

There are some similarities, but Shaq wasn't the best player in America the one year that him, CJ and Stanley Roberts were together. He became the best player in America after they left. He said they all wanted to be "the man" in that Shaq and Dale special and that was the issue. But Dale did do better with his less talented teams. Miles ain't coaching up nobody.

It seems very similar to Kevin Faulk as well.

Thanks, Greek. I had to look that up.
My assertion is certainly wrong for that game.
But Knight and Damon Bailey were no scrubs.

He was a bad FT shooter. Hard to believe he ever made 12 in a row.

HAHAHA!!!
Shaq was 26-30, combined, in three NCAA tourney losses.
Revisionist history indeed. Nice call!
