I bet the people that send their kids to boarding schools will admit this. The again, most of the private school talk here is about private schools in Louisiana. I doubt a private school in Louisiana is in the Top 100 private schools in the nation.

The place also teaches grappling and basic jujitsu.
It's either that or Tae Kwon Do around here
This doesn't really make sense to me, I've never heard of basic bjj. I'm guessing what you mean is they don't have a black belt teaching grappling.
Never underestimate tae kwon do, a well thrown turning side kick will frick your world up big time.

What?
Same at any age.
Run faster than most, stronger vs. body weight than most, execute on the playing field better than most, etc.
Kid can win a foot race, climb a rope, do a pull-up,etc
Yet he gets beat up.

By 3 kids, with no actual damage.
Go away.
Go away.

So, one day I went to lunch with her (I'm 6'3"/235)
Why is your height and weight relevant? Would it really have mattered if you were 5'7" and 150 pounds? The kids are 7.

Because the 'damage' is being done to a 7 year old, who is also weak.
Im more surprised that a 1st grader is being considered super athletic

Let him play rough/spar with kids a few years older

I got in a couple of fights with karate kids when I was younger. You know what I did when they tried to kick me? Moved back. One kid even tried to jump kick me and ended up falling on the ground and dislocating his arm. I didn't have to do anything

Just because you send your kids to a private school doesn't mean they are getting a better education. Also, just because someone doesn't send their kids to private school but owns a boat doesn't mean they don't value their kid's education. There's a slight chance or even a decent chance they are getting a slightly better education, but there's not as big of a gap as most think. The real reason, though no one will admit it, is status amongst peers, social circles for their kids and themselves, lack of minorities, and religion.
I 100% disagree with everything you said.

I'll take it a step further. I try to purposely put my son in situations where he's forced to play rough. Kids are too sheltered IMO.
My son plays too rough with his buddies, I have to pull him off sometimes and tell his to chill.....he's been this way since he was old enough to walk....he's not the biggest kid either but he's one tough little dude. I've never seen him cry or sit out of a sporting event because he was hurt.
I was messing around with him the other day and had him in a head lock, little shite launched a right hand over his head and caught me right in the chin....hard enough that my reaction was to slap him upside the head...I dont think he'll make that mistake again

While this may be true in your case, I can guarantee no 7 year old has ever been "jumped" at the private school my kids attend. Nor will there ever be in the next 12 years of their attendance.
thats fricking stupid, I went to a private school k-12 and the most fights we saw or got into where in 3-6th grades.

What defines athleticism at 7 years old? Please one of y'all answer this for me? Were you the king on the jungle gym? Did you have sick handles in basketball? What in the actual frick.
You watch them playing sports with other kids their age and you can tell who is gifted athletically. Pretty easy to figure out.

I clearly indicated that I can make this statement in regards to the specific school my children attend. Not your glorious alma mater.

I can promise you, there has been and will be 7 year olds fighting in whatever school you're sending your kids to in order to elevate your social status
Posted on 8/31/16 at 11:41 am to CorkSoaker
I'm sure your 2x4 arse knows every single scuffle that has occurred at your precious snowflake's school

Again, I'll repeat myself. There has never and will not be in the next 12 years of my children's education a situation where a 7 year old is "jumped" at the school my children get to attend.
Try and twist it all you want.

Actually, yes. They are used to being around women all day that are similar to 5'7"/150, so when I showed up, I looked like a giant to them.
