For those of you who aren't afraid to let out your inner alcoholic white girl. I passed through Leblancs yesterday and noticed them starting to trickle in. What are your go-to's. I'm a fan of New Belgium Pumpkick.

I expected this type of response. More for me. Plus I counter my love for fall shite by drinking quality beers like Ghost, Envie, Commotion etc on the reg.

Is that the one with cranberry mixed in?
My favorite is Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale.

Not that I know of. I don't taste anything like that. Sounds horrible.

If anyone is ISO SA Pumpkinator, I've got some from '12-'15 I'm willing to part with. LMK

I don't mind pumpkin beers in moderation, but it sure helps when it's cooler out.
My absolute favorite fall beers are the fresh/wet hop IPAs that will start showing up soon after the hop harvest taking place right now.

I love fall and fall beers. However, i despise all pumpkin beers now. I used to like them when they came out, at the earliest, the last week of September. However, I (as well as many others) have completely stopped drinking them. They oversaturated the market. Every brewery has a pumpkin beer, and some have more than 1. And most of them are complete shite. Too much spice, and very little, or sometimes none at at all, pumpkin.
When fall hits i start transitioning to stouts, belgian ales, and the occasional oktoberfest. Finding a good oktoberfest is getting difficult these days.
Founder's Breakfast stout should start hitting the shelves soon. That and a nice piney IPA are my go to's during the cooler months. However, being in Louisiana, we won't see that until mid to late December.

I'm with ya. I'm not throwing them back all the time, but I like pumpkin and oktoberfest beers for 1 or 2 a weekend. It also probably plays into it that it reminds me of football season which brings me a lot of joy.

This is the info I'm looking for. This thread isn't about just pumpkin beers. I just happen to like one of them. I'm looking for things to pick up that are good fall beers. Some of you dudes have some serious beer knowledge. I'm just a student here to learn

I am hoping with Elysian's new reach into the Texas market, I'll be able to scoop up some their pumpkin beers.
Other than that, I'll stick to stouts and porters to warm up during those frigid sub-50 degree Houston winter days.

I'm a fan of the marzens/oktoberfest beers that come out this time of year. A crisp, slightly biscuity lager on a cool evening is a great thing. I also really enjoy BBF Autumn Saison.

This is me too. I used to try every new pumpkin I could find. Then they started releasing them in July and they were gone by mid September. Now there are just too many, and they all come out when it is still 95 degrees outside.
I'll pick up a few toward the end of next month if I can find good ones.
