He also had a gem of a play that should have ended the game. He made a diving stop on the line on a screamer and quickly delivered a reasonable throw to 1B who missed the scoop and let it go by (subsequently threw out the runner headed to 2nd to end the game). Had there been a decent first baseman, he would have ended the game with a possible SC Top Ten play. He's coming into his own defensively for sure in addition to getting into a groove at the plate.

He is really putting it on now. 40th best fantasy player in the last two weeks, if you want to compare him to the rest of the majors.
