Les should go old school and wear the Madonna-style headset he wore during the 2005 Arizona State game...

Every Coach is a little different every year because every year poses slightly different problems , if you negatigers think yall scared him you are wrong and you still don't run this team ,but you can dream all you want !

Agreed! I think what happened last year, although handled by the administration like shite, was a good "wake up call" of sorts for Les.

He looks focused this year...which should translate into the team being focused. I'm always pumping the sunshine at the beginning of the football season...but I'm also realistic. I remember before the Oregon game in 2011, I felt that team was going to be special. I have a similar feeling about this years... 12 more days!!!!

Three years from now all the Les hating idiots will silently look back on the 2016, '17 and '18 seasons and look like the idiots they are. Then, God forbid, we have a season at some point where we only win 8 or 9 games and the rantards will be back calling for Les to retire.
Short-term perspective, instant gratification morons.

In my humble opinion.....If Lester loses a sixth straight to UAT and Nicky Saban he should be gone immediately. It doesn't matter to me if he wins all other games. I have to live with the Gumps and their arrogance and this losing crap is getting old. If I remember correctly, Coach Mac had a similar problem with Coach Bryant and it ended up costing him his job.

I believe he personally got the message.

I agree with most of what you said because I believe he realizes that he has an extremely talented team and this is the Tigers best advantage year compared to our SEC opponents in a long time. I am enthused as well!

However, if you think he has changed much I believe you will be disappointed. With Fournette in the Heisman race I believe Les will be run heavy again this year. Not a Les hater or apologist... just a realist. He is playing with house money now.

This is probably the most talented team on paper he has coached, with the exception of the 2011 team - and I think the overall talent is on par this year.

He has a Heisman front-runner with a back-up that would start for any other SEC team IMO. (Don't let the Scarborough hype fool you).

The toughest, and most critical, two games on the schedule are at home (Bama and OM).

If Miles cannot win it this year, then he never will win it ("it" being the SEC). Win the SEC and you have a shot at the National Title - that is all anyone can ask for is a shot.

If Miles wins the SEC this year, I'll consider him and the season a success. Less than that, barring unforeseen, unpreventable issues at key positions (like injuries), and Miles needs to be seriously evaluated as the head coach moving forward at year's end.**

**The problem with firing Miles is I have less faith in Alleva than Miles...or a used car salesman.

Man I really believe this team could do some special things this year and wisky is going to have to play a perfect game to keep this thing close. LF is ready to prove the last match up was a fluke. If we had the depth that we will have in a couple years with this current team no one would come close to beating us but without the quality depth it will hurt at some point. LF said he thinks that this years class could be better than theirs and I agree with him. I think this 17 class will be just as good if not slightly better. Bans fans better wake the fuc up if they think LSU is going to stay down. They are in for a rude awakening if they don't think LSU can recruit right there with them on the front seven also. We coming baby we coming. GT
