For a person with a college degree that went too long and had too much (stuff like this) in it.

Not hellping our cause at all honestly.

You should always proof read your work; and your first sentence should be attention grabbing, grammatically correct, and a hook for the reader. The first sentence should also be concise, to the point, and a summation of the rest of the work. He was missing all of those elements.

That letter reads like the ramblings of a whiny bitch. There are much more efficient ways to get your point across.

That's his second dig at Donald Trump, who was the first and only person to come down here, and donated and handed out supplies himself.

Yeah. This letter is shite. Hits on some decent notes but the whole thing is not only attention whoring, but also just wrong in some parts.

A better, smarter person needs to pen some sort of letter like this.

And she also kind of insulted Taylor Swift (who came out of pocket 1 million dollars). It was like a "gee thanks" type comment, as if she threw a dollar bill in the bucket and walked away.

Yeah, I thought attorneys were supposed to be competent writers. This thing needs an editor in the worst way.

The letter was drafted prior to the announcement of his intentions to visit Louisiana as per the draft date on her facebook page (as noted by a previous poster in this thread).

She was pretty much an equal opportunity shot taker in remarks about who specifically had yet to visit La. about the flooding as well as chiding the media that was up B.R.'s bootay just a few weeks prior to the flood, imo.

I thought she was being sincere about Taylor Swift's contribution.

If this was written by an attorney, he or she is an emotional, relatively uneducated individual. About the only accurate part of the letter is the fact that the national media attention has been abysmal. The actual composition of the letter is embarrassing.

This, but based on the downvotes, the author is obviously following along with this thread.

She should have worded it something like "Taylor Swift was the only person that stepped up to help"...

Rather than "nobody has...oh yeah by the way...Taylor Swift". That's 1 million fricking dollars. I know Taylor Swift is rich, but she didn't have to do that. I just thought it was kind of shitty the way she wrote that.

I think a little more than "props" is owed to somebody who comes out of pocket one million dollars.

Didn't read the letter but I did just look on CNN's website.

You have to search for flood stories. Only thing on the main page of their site now is a human interest story about a guy suffering from the flood(it's a tiny link you can click) and at the very bottom under the "Politics" section is another link that mentions Trump going to BR.

Flood not even mentioned under the "Top Stories" section on the main page of the website.

CNN is still trying to figure out the proper PC term for black French Olympic athletes.

Their coining of the phrase French-African-American last week was retarded.

I don't now why people get upset at either CNN or fox anymore. They're political trap bait retard networks.
