Like I've said before, criminals now know that victims are afraid to fight back out of fear of getting in trouble for fighting back.

But WHY?
You have every right to defend yourself, but you don't have a right, in a civilized society, to enact vigilante justice, especially for something like a robbery. If it was justice for a murder or rape, or something dealing with your children, I'd be much more sympathetic.

There's a reason he's known as the most contrarian poster on the OT

Im guessing you missed the sarcasm.

Sure looks like he ran in front of the moving vehicle to me...

Are the victims in this country here legally?

If you saw the video and you think it was "fighting back", I don't know what to tell you.
This guy might get off much like Zimmerman did, but they're both worthless pieces of shite.**
**Criticizing Zimmerman or the guy in the OP doesn't exclude Trayvon or the thieves from also being worthless pieces of shite.

Clearly, but considering the average post in this thread, I thought you were serious.

I'm defending criminals by suggesting that running them over long after they've left is a crime?
I'm not losing any sleep over what happens to the thieves, but again, it doesn't make it acceptable.

If someone robbed me at gunpoint, Threatened my life for my property, and then walked down the street I would absolutely run the worthless pieces of shite down in my truck. There's no flipping over a f150.

Nope, you'd launch the punk about 50 yards.

I have no problem with what he did (haven't watched the video yet). To me this is no different than the pieces of shite that get shot resisting arrest...don't do it and you won't get shot/runover by the guy you robbed.

Under what pretense? This guy tried to kill them with his vehicle long after they had fled the scene.
He's obviously a hero in the eyes of the OT, but in what civilized society is anything he did acceptable? The thieves are complete scum, no doubt about it, but that doesn't excuse his actions at that point.
After the traumatic events of being held at gun point and the threat of being shot, it's obvious he has temporary insanity.

Perhaps that is a reasonable defense, we'll see what the court says.

What are the odds the cops would've caught these men without his vehicular beatdown? I'm going with low. Very low. He probably saved other people from similar robberies.
