"You are bad manager and deserve the stress. You are giving your supervisor 100x the stress you are experiencing."

Who the frick are you to suggest that this guy is a bad manager? You don't always get put into the best position on projects. Sometimes you have to do the best with what you are given. Maybe you should look at both sides of the coin before making a dumbass statement like that.

Rant over/

Yeah. I had a stress headache the day I graduated from college.

I told myself I'd never get stressed out like that again. And so far I've kept that.

Yes. For some reason earlier this year I began feeling stress unlike ever before. I basically turned into a hypochondriac and my stomach was always in knots, I started getting bits of muscle fasciculations. It fricking sucked. I finally realized I wasn't dying, life wasn't as bad as it seemed at the moment, and over the course of a couple months, that all has slowly disappeared.

I also never knew how much stress could frick you up.

In 6 weeks I had a new baby, moved, was laid off, started new job, and dad got cancer. I drank moderately and did cardio. It's called becoming an adult

Congratulations on becoming an unempathetic adult.

My most extreme physical symptom from stress was starting up GERD whose only symptom was coughing.

One attack was strong enough to tear an intercostal muscle.

How am I unempethetic?

Stress is terrible and can kill you. One needs to learn how to cope. It's not easy and I wish everyone the best.

I have been there. Stress effects your health. From having a broken relationship, to losing a loved one. It affects your health and well being. You can feel physically sick and weak. Been there done that. God Bless! Praying helps.

I've learned to avoid it, and doing just fine. Learning to cope with stress just means you'll die young and miserable.

Almost died from it. So, yes. Changed my life, for the better. All this gung-ho shite will catch up with you sooner, or later.

Immune system was so shot

I got shingles at one point, when I was in my mid 20s, because of stress lowering my immune system.

Shingles fricking suck. I've beat my body to hell over the years and they are right up there as one of the most painful things I've had.

I've been on the politic board of this site for an extended period of like 4 min one time-- long enough to feel the overwhelming urge to take a shite. It was an untimely and sudden urge to shite brought about undoubtedly because I had profaned my mind with the whorishness there. I think this was a sort of stress.

Otherwise no, I take a quarter or half a Xanax if I get real edgy and something is grinding me for more that a day. If you grind on an issue more than a day you are just hurting yourself. Best to decide and act and be happy within a day.

Don't go to poliboard. Give you IBS!

Yes. One time I had to fight in this war in Asia as an infantryman and people were trying to kill me and it made me really "physically" sick. I had to deal with "stress". Life is tough.

shite, you don't know what stress is. Mouth ulcers like a mother fricker and no biggie to loose 15+ pounds and I am no where near a heavy man. Rapid loss of hair is another but could also be bc I am closing in on 30.

Yes. Years ago I started having the classic chest pains that come wih a heart problem but I wasn't short of breath and could keep functioning. My doctor could not find anything and sent me to a cardiologist for a stress test. I passed with flying colors so I asked him why am I having chest pains. His reply was "Stress". Once I knew it helped me regulate my emotions. Now I just take a step back when things get crazy however I do lose sleep from time to time like tonight.
