I can't believe all this rain is moving in. The storm drains are not taking any water so we're pretty much screwed.

Too early to assess, but the impending rain coming now from the gulf is the worst thing we need right now.

Praying it moves through with a quickness.

Haven't slept much. Phones are down. Trying to do all my panicking before the wife wakes up and starts panicking herself.

Looks like hours upon hours of rain per The Weather Channel future map.

All of Monticello is underwater.

My dad still has a house there and started taking in water around 3:30am and he had one of the higher homes in the neighborhood.

For anyone wondering, flooding is occurring around 12 in Walker. The McDonald's, Winne Dixie, and houses on Pendarvis are flooded.

I'm in Lake Beau Pre also. I think we'll be ok, we would need to get a shitload of backflow and our house is pretty high compared to the street and there's nothing in the street yet. But I know plenty of other people in BR thought the same thing and now they have a couple feet of water in their house.

In that area as well. I was feeling comfortable about the situation before the new rain forecast. Drains are already swollen here.
