Could this back flow potentially impact the Spring Lake area near Bluebonnet or even the LSU area?

Thanks for the heads up. What you are saying makes total sense. I just thought this was already happening and the worst was behind us.

It looked like LSU got some water based on the pixelated aerial video they showed on WAFB earlier today. I could be wrong, it was about .480p resolution..

Been in keystone for 7 years and I've never seen or heard of anyone flooding. But then again I never thought I'd see this much water around the amite. Hope we stay dry too. Got a few bags packed if we gotta roll but doubt we will have too

There is a bayou that connects to one of the ponds towards the back that runs to manchac. (In Keystone)

Yeah....and it will probably happen in a few hours when everyone is asleep and flash flooding is relatively hidden by nightfall.

People earlier said that there was a German shepherd tied to a porch and that firefighters were going back to rescue it.
Any word???

Yeah I think it's Henderson bayou that connects to one of the ponds in Keystone, and Henderson bayou connects to the Amite River, so......

You should start a thread warning people about this back flow problem.
You articulate it well and a lot of people live in the impacted area (which has been dry so far).
