But you are ignoring Connor turning Nate's face and leg into hamburger meat.

Worst part about new watchers is they think blood is a winner. I could bust nate and nick up with all thatscar tissue

Conor has a really slight frame. I don't think cutting weight will hurt him if it keeps him from being 170 on fight night.

Could you destroy his leg and eat all his shots for 5 rounds while knocking him down and destroying his face?

Connor gains nothing by fighting Nate again. No need for a third match.

He just got $3mil for this fight, the largest purse ever.

He's not going to get a bigger purse than a Diaz trilogy, I'd imagine.

conor won on a fight where....well....the judges awarded him for a 1 round performance then run rest of fight.

This is dumb.

McGregor fricked Diaz up. Running was not "rewarded." Consistent meaningful shots by foot and fist were.

Diaz landed a ton of punches, but they weren't anywhere near as big as what McGregor delivered. McGregor also shot down every takedown attempt.

Dana said this week he's defending the belt next fight, but idk after tonight

If he's not defending the belt he needs to vacate it because he's been holding the division hostage way too long.

Then Conor better defend his title at least once and against Aldo.

Look for Conor/Aldo on Dec. 30 in Vegas. If that foot brings a 6 month medical suspension then that fight is Feb. at the latest. Giving another 6 months after that would put #3 in a June-August timeframe. They'll do July in Vegas for Int'l fight week which always falls on the week of my b-day, that'd be pretty cool if #3 falls around then. I'll do an Oregon/Washington fishing trip, 4th of July, camp in the Redwoods and surf in Santa Cruz/golf in Monterey then cap it off w/ #3 in Vegas.

That'd be an epic trip.

Y'all are delusional. McGregor is winning this fight. Diaz getting 70% of the wagers and McGregor is still the favorite. Fade the public dog.

Goodnight y'all, always fade the public dog!

It was a point to show he bleeda easy. After midway thru 2nd nate was never in trouble again. Its a reason the fight changed.

Again rewarding a guy for a great 1st rd and giving him a 5rd fight is meh at best.

Anyway...on to cm punk

A knockdown doesn't get you the round automatically.

Diaz spent the rest of the round wailing on McGregor:

Connor dominated the 1st and half the 2nd. Diaz mid way through the 2nd beat his arse and beat him in the 3rd. The 4th was a wash and Diaz won the 5th.

That's how it went.

Inconistency in judging is nuts...never saw the aggressor penalized.also while nate goy rocked early clearly late 2nd pn nate had him rocked alot mpde.

You do realize it's not just the judges, you're in the actual minority thinking Nate won. Not sure if you realize that.

Honestly I'm going to have to sit back and rewatch it. In the heat of the moment sometimes you tend to lean towards a guy that you want to win. I know it was close but I'll have to watch it again. I feel like DIaz did himself a disservice by taking the fourth off. He really had a chance to seal that victory.

No way were they going to let their top draw lose a fight that was that close. No way.

I agree.

So you're saying that if it wasn't a knock-out, they pre-determined the outcome to set up Fight #3?

Golly... this is my shocked face.

But Connor was just gassed.

Nate did very little damage.

Connor turned Nate's face and leg into hamburger meat.

Until the last one when they were both going for it. Ok.
Happy? You're still wrong on the judging
