Quote from article about Miles' salary:

quote:

You didn’t receive a raise, except for that small boost you got for winning the SEC Championship.

That blogger must make some serious cheese to think that 1 mil / year raise is a "small boost".

And if he wins the MNC, he becomes at least the 3rd highest paid coach in the country. What more could LSU possibly do for the guy?

Plus- if he is fired by LSU, he gets double his salary (not even mentioned by the link). Sounds like a pretty sweet contract to me.

I still don't understand why folks don't use a little bit of common sense, including this idiot blogger. It works wonders. Miles' comments about helping Michigan were nothing more than courtesy, but a lot of folks somehow think that Michigan has signed Miles to some kind of full time consulting contract. Gee, how hard is it to figure this out? The extent of Miles' "help" is one (count 'em) telephone conversation. Let it go.

Doesn't Miles know the media has repealed the First Amendment? How dare he antagonize these people by exercising his First Amendment Rights to talk to people from Michigan? Doesn't he understand that he can be held in contempt of the media?

Doesn't Miles understand the media will throw everything including the proverbial kitchen sink at him for daring to act like an ordinary American citizen? Does Miles think he can do simple honest things like talking to people on the phone from Michigan and pretend the sports media will not try to turn that into something dirty and dishonest. How stupid can the man be?

The creepy crawlers of the sports media are now attacking Miles with their usual bag of tricks, simply because they can. Their bag of tricks have included rumors, half truths, falsehoods, unsubstantiated bogus charges, and now blatant lies in anonymous internet blogs. Stay tuned to the Rocky Horror Picture Show of the sports world--ESPN!
