Sucks and is awful. Worst caprese salad I have ever had. Small bland way overpriced portions. Literally served me broccoli from a frozen bag. The only thing they didn't frick up was my miller lite in a bottle. People next to us were complaining how awful there meal was as well. Do yourself a favor and go to Gino's.

Been wanting to try this place. Good to know it sucks.

Thanks for the in depth review. I've not been, but have heard some pretty good things about Palermo's. I'll reserve judgement until I can try it myself, without a Miller Lite.

Same owner as Little Village, I would imagine they have similarities.

Never been to this place and probably never will. I've been to Little Village a few times and since I've experienced eating in the kitchen of the original Village and was raised eating there I can say it is nothing like it. I find all of his restaurants are somewhat mediocre for way too much money.

It's awesome! OP is incorrect. Must own or work at one of the other Italian establishments.

Negative. No affiliation with any other restaurant. Just giving honest opinion

I'd heard nothing but good things about this place, except that it was a little pricy, up until the OP's post.

Maybe your taste in food is as bad as your taste in beers?

This mouth-breather OP goes to a decent Italian joint and orders Miller Lite and we're supposed to trust/acknowledge his opinion?? GTFOutta here!!

Will try to give an honest unbiased opinion.
I have been twice. Let me tell you about the second time first...
We went. Lady Magoo got the fish special. It was bland and uncreative. About half way through, figured out that the grouper was half raw and sent it back. It got microwaved and sent back to us. My meal was good, but nothing earth shattering.
But our first meal... Literally wow. I got the veal Parmesan, lady got the chicken picatta. Both were flavorful, wonderful dishes. We called their red sauce "crack sauce" cause it was just that good. We almost went back the very next night, it was that good. I told many people it was the best Italian I had ever had in BR, and I stick by that statement (based on the first meal).
But, after the second meal, I have not been giving out that recommendation.
I will absolutely go back. Hopefully third time is the charm. But clearly they still have some kinks to work out in the kitchen.

Our first meal there was pretty good but by the second, we were done. Overdressed salads, sickly looking chicken in the picatta and no decent dessert. Not consistent at all.

Just don't like gay hipster beers. Sorry I enjoy an ice cold miller

An Abita Amber isn't gay or hipster but also doesn't taste like piss.
