As I'm reading this thread, I'm reminded of how unlikeable most of the characters are. By the end, I think the list of characters I liked was down to Furio, Bobby Baccalieri, Silvio Dante, and a few other guys.

Richie Aprile was outta jail about a week and was already trying to take out Tony.

Probably not the toughest but an honorable mention to the jew who refused to grant his wife a divorce and got his arse kicked for days over it.

Silvio was pretty bad arse as well. He had to keep his bitches in line, plus he took care of Adriennana.

It's so weird seeing him in E St Band. He wears his doo rag. Looks like a Jamaican cancer survivor.

The Russian washes his balls in ice water. That alone wins.

Furio for sure. The scene in Italy where he kicks arse in front of Tony, you get the sense that Tony is excited at the prospect of adding someone who isn't completely incompetent.

Bobby Baccalieri, Sr. and it isn't even close. Tough son of a bitch did a hit then dropped dead from cancer.
Bobby Sr. fricking kills me. When they're standing outside the church after the funeral service for Carm's uncle.
Bobby Sr. (laughing with Tony) - He makes me laugh, your fricking uncle.
/camera pans to a non-attentive Junior.
Bobby Sr. (points to Junior) - That's right, we're talking about you, you cagey frick.
Junior - Huh?
Bobby Sr. - You got 'em all fooled.

Furio: "There's a bee on-a you hat"

I think Silvio is being underrated here. He had a hand in almost all of the major hits carried out on the show. But I actually came to say Furio as well. He was my favorite character.

I'm doing a rewatch, that scene made me laugh just the other night.

I wish they would of kept Bobby Sr. Around for a few episodes. Guy was hardcore. Didn't give a shite about the fact that Mustang Sally was his godson.
