Does anyone own this or anything similar by another brand?

Looking for something that would be good to wear as an outer shell or layer it as a base layer under my wading jacket.
Also, is the entire thing waterproof or just the upper part?

Nothing drake makes is waterproof. I don't think I'll buy another piece of their clothing.

It will most likely start falling apart within the first season. Overpriced garbage.

Not even close to waterproof, everything brown in the pic is fleece.

1) no part of it is waterproof
2) I wear one just like that all during the season, just bring your jacket if it rains

mine is at least 10'yrs old and going strong
It's my favorite pullover by far

I've got one similar that is about 10 years old. The neck is long enough to pull up over my face and it's like double walled fleece. Very warm, but not waterproof at all.
If I'm moving much it can get too hot, but it's ideal for deer hunting in cold weather.

I have this jacket and really like it. I love the camo pattern and the jacket itself is waterproof and good for cool mornings by itself or layered underneath.

If there was a guy head to toe in Drake and a guy head to toe in Filson, I'd laugh my arse off at the douche in all Filson.

I have something similar to that from Macks Prairie Wings. I like it as something to wear around camp or as outer wear when Hunting if it isnt raining. Been very happy with MPW stuff. Probably a good bit cheaper than drake, too

I have almost that exact jacket, made by Rocky. Has been really good through 2 seasons in LA and AR. Sleeves ran a little long, but that's in part to my T Rex arms.

So I was about to ask for a new drake 1/4 zip mst for my bday from the mrs. I've had one for 5 years now and have been happy with it. The zipper broke last year the camo is fading and it's got a couple holes from sitting around the fire in it. I have worn the shite out of it and definitely got my money's worth. With that said and all the hate for drake what would one recommend and filson is not an option I'm sure it's a quality product but I want something in camo. This is 2016 we don't have to dress like Elmer Fudd to go duck hunting anymore.
