Why haven't we seen video of the Sterling incident before the police arrived?

or the video of the police arriving and initially engaging Sterling?
For the Michael Brown case, it seems that the convenient store robbery video came out rather quickly. What's the hold up in this case?

I doubt there is any video of what transpired before the tackle

I think the store video got confiscated fairly quickly and is likely in an evidence room somewhere.

Because it would show the gentle giant acting a fool and resisting before being tased.

The Triple S store owner is suing the police officers and several members inside the organization as well. This could be the hold up.
He alleges that BRPD illegally confiscated video recordings of the incident.

RAed for white privilege, microaggressions, and general triggering

The type of people living in those areas only start filming when the police show up so they can scream police brutality

Because it was seized by police via a warrant as evidence and has not been released to the public.

It will probably be a few weeks before we see any kind of video like that.

The FBI has the footage from the convenience store. We had to hand it over to them so it's only a matter of time until they decide to release it. If they don't release it perhaps it's because the want of a fair trial for the police officers involved. But I'm a woman, I don't know much.

Much later if ever because the rabble rouser masses aren't going to like what is on the videos. As was said in iRobot, you are asking the right questions.

i think the store video is showing much more than what happened with that case. which is why the store owner is being proactive with the lawsuit.
also, the bodycams footage and the store footage is all in the feds hands now so locals can't release it.
there was definitely body cam footage before the tussle.

The owner of the store erased the tape. He didn't want it getting out and his store being turned into a Baltimore CVS

Several videos have not been released
the store's security cam
the cops dash cam
the 2 officers body cam (they kept recording even though they fell off)
I feel these will show a lot, probably show the incident with sterling and the homeless man that made the initial call to 911, and will probably show sterling brandishing a gun, I think it will give a lot more insight to the events that immediately led up to the shooting and may or may not show sterling reaching for his gun. they will not release these videos until they get all the sworn statements from the witnesses so that they can discredit all the bullshite, hell they may not even release them until it goes to the grand jury so not only will they look like idiots but will also perjure themselves
as for the store owner, it would not be too far fetched to think he is involved in activities such as food stamp laundering and selling synthetic weed etc, hence why he wants all the videos to be deemed non admissible
