Why do you guys hate James Harden?

He's not a thug, doesn't get arrested, puts up lots of points, hits big time shots, loves to enjoy life. So he's not Bruce Bowen, so what??

Why do you keep starting shitty threads?

Nobody hates James Harden, he's just funny to laugh at

Because the Rockets are in the Pelitards' heads

I think that boom guy has a lot to do with it.

Much like with Cam Newton and Matt Ryan, it begins with the NO inferiority complex and the constant need to fixate on a "rival" to which they compare their moribund franchises.

The pelitards hate him bc ryno called him the leagues best player.
Anderson said the team has been on his mind "for a lot of years." The Rockets have tried trading for him in past seasons, and his father, Jack, said though Anderson received an offer from his hometown Sacramento Kings, the Rockets were the "clear-cut" choice.
"I'm excited to be here and play with a guy like James, who is, in my mind, the best player in the NBA, a guy that's going to get Eric and I a lot of wide-open looks," said Anderson, a forward who has shot nearly 38 percent from 3-point range in his career. "I haven't had a lot of wide-open looks over the years."

I've always hated watching him play. He's a volume scorer that flops his arse off. He's the best drawer of non-fouls I've ever seen. It's frustrating that he gets those calls then shoots 90% at the line.
Don't get me started on his defense

i dont hate james harden. But i do hate watching him play. He can not play defense, he is terrible actually. Its like he doesnt even want to try. And on offense its so frustrating to watch someone with his talent to rather draw a foul than actually try and make the shot. He would rather run through defenders throwing his arms and body into someone going out of his way to do it than try and hit the shot.

Because he has the least aesthetically pleasing play style of any player in the NBA.
He would rather get fouled than make a bucket.

you're right and wrong. he CAN play defense, but he doesn't really try to to save energy for offense

if Cam was playing in the AFC West and doing Cam things, he'd be hated just as much on here
Posted on 7/10/16 at 12:35 pm to SlowFlowPro
because he's walking GIF on poor defense.
because he's not much of a leader.
because he came in to camp out of shape choosing to go after Lamar Odom's sloppy seconds.
because he made us all accept that Dwight Howard has a point about something.

lack of hustle on defense says a lot about a person. And that person is james harden.

It has a ton to do with his team sitting atop the NFC South.
