Have you ever stored framed prints in an attic?

Just took down 5 prints and need to store them. Will putting them in a hot attic hurt them?
They are decent prints (Audubon and Al Federico) so I'd prefer not to mess them up for later use.

Yes I have put them in the attic and then they went in the dumpster. It will ruin them.

If space is issue, take print from frame.

For the love of God, don't do it. I did this once and within six months, the prints dissolved in the humidity, the garage collapsed and I contracted rectal cancer. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

no way I would put anything like that in an attic...

I have a shite-ton of old legos in the attic in rubbermaid bins and I worry about it being too hot for them to survive, let alone something far more fragile and temperature-sensitive. I say don't do it. Put them in the back of a closet or something.

How much do you want for them?

No, put in a closet or under the bed.
I picked up some framed prints from a framer back this spring and they said don't leave them in my car too long. They said fluctuations in temperature will damage them.

Don't fit? Throw shite out.

Too hot and too humid. Can you put them in plastic storage bin under a bed?
