Your telling me a black guy got arrested for some shite in the 90's and it was all legit? Dude, we fricked with those guys as much as we could and laughed as they got all kinds of bs charges pinned on them. Or are you telling me the system treats them the same as me and you? Nimrod.

Don't make me frick you, Steven.

If Jeremy Hill ever resists arrest and then reportedly reaches for a gun, he will be shot too. That's kind of how this whole thing works.
I haven't said anything about whether the guy deserved to be shot. I'm reserving judgement until the facts come out. IF he attempted to pull a gun then he deserved to be shot.
What I am saying is that this guy's arrest record is not justification for shooting him. That's kinda how the American constitution works.

Yea literally nothing. Are you capable of tying your own shoes?
Well did he shoot the cops???? Did he pull out his gat?

Literally the worst possible way to justify what may turn out to be a justified police shooting
His past record doesn't justify his death.
However, his past record also doesn't justify vigils, social media memes or characterizations such as "gentle giant" or "beloved in the community".

Agreed
But his lifestyle was part of his undoing

Hopefully no one is saying that.
Its just a shame people are spouting how good of a guy he was on national TV and turning this into some innocent man being shot. He was a piece of shite human being that was a career violent criminal.
We know for a fact he illegally had a gun on him and the officers were responding to a 911 call about him threatening someone with that gun.
If it was a bad shoot, officers should be in trouble. But all these tears from all these people that did not know him are so fricking fake. This guy was not a student walking to class with his backpack and shot by police. He put himself in these situations his entire life and eventually it caught up to him.
He's lucky he wasn't shot and killed the FIRST time he had an illegal gun and resisted arrest. That is a damn good way to get yourself killed.

To act like someone's arrest record is completely irrelevant is nonsense. It speaks to their character and mindset. It's the same reason people use "He was a father/son/brother/student/good person" etc. etc. for why a person killed by cops was unjustified.

Let's all just be real honest. If he was white, more restraint would've been shown in deciding whether or not to use lethal force.

It can be but in his case it was a felony. If he had to register he pled to the felony statute.

True, but the whole point of prison is rehabilitation. Creating someone who can re enter society.

You do realize this is the United States, right?

See how you can play this game ?

I'm not saying he did or didn't deserve to be killed. I'm saying if his community can rally around him being such a beacon of hope, without actual proof, then those who disagree can bring up his past to show otherwise.

Haven't argued against that at all. It's possible to believe he should neither be celebrated as a good person nor labelled as someone who had it coming based on his past.

No, I don't call cops. I spit on them. All are pussies. Couldn't handle a diabetic fat arse black dude so they shot him. LOL They sure will be popular in prison. Caught on video. Don't these morons know every cellphone has a camera on it now. Or they just teach "step out of the car please" still at the police academy. Not only pussies, but dumb ones.
this takes ignorance to a whole new level...

Of course. We can all see that he was a former criminal. Key word former. None of us outside of that community knows any of the good he may or may not have done. They don't wipe each other out but they're both important. I hope to God if something ever happens to you or I that even if what the public sees is me in a negative light, that people that truly know me, come to my defense so I'm remembered as more than just what the public could see.

Again, I never said his arrest record was irrelevant. I said he didn't deserve to be shot strictly because of his record. I dislike people people painting him as some hero just as much as those (not you specifically) seemly gloating that he was killed.
