Curious as to why you are asking these questions after you enrolled them.

Of course it is a great school.

So your kid is about to start a well known school that you will be paying quite a bit for, and you are now asking for "thoughts"?

I went there. Graduated 6years ago. I loved it. Best 4 years I could have asked for.

2 kinds of people come from Catholic in my experience.

The ones who go to college, have some fun, and grow up.

The other ones go to college, have way too much fun, and don't grow up.

That's as specific as I'll get

Same as my catholic high school experience.

Key part of that is just about everyone goes to college, b/c it's just what's expected, regardless if you belong in college or not. You'll see kids that you'd think would do well in college flunk out, and you'll see some of the not smart kids give it their all and graduate, but everyone at least gives college a shot. The high school does everything they can to make sure every kid does what is necessary to get into college academically, and also get whatever benefits they can, TOPS/Scholarships.

Absolutely, but there is always bad things that happen. Steroids were the big thing when I was there.

Does your son play sports? Just to give you a heads up if you don't already known, there will be about 70 kids tryout for the 9th grade baseball team.

But we spent a lot of money on travel ball. He has 6 rings. Won't be an issue. CHS is just a necessary layover until the Big Show.
