Oh I don't know how about the switch in the seat wired to a thermostat that if that switch was activated by weight or if a child seat was in the car if car hit certain temp engine starts ac comes on & the horn blows anything can be done but auto companies do not want to do it because if it fails the kid dies. It's just a natural culling like Heroin deaths cull of stupid people

My thing is, we have a sensor to sound an annoying ding to have a passenger put their seatbelt on, but we can't come up with something to sense that there is a child in the car??? My damn sensor goes off if I put a bag of fast food in the passenger seat sometimes. We can't figure out to have something that can tell if a child is in the back seat and to beep at you like when you leave your lights on.

I got a better one.
All cars should disable cell phones with a scrambler

You really didn't think this idea out too well...

I keep my kids and pets in the trunk. Little known fact is, the trunk doesn't get nearly as hot.

Here's an idea:
Push to start
Run car with AC
Lock doors
Problem solved

My step-dad's old Audi had some hot weather package. A solar panel in the sunroof would power fans in the cabin when it got hot in there. It also came with sun shades all around. It kept the cabin sorta comfortable even during the summertime. Definitely better than nothing

my moms A5000 had that package

How about installing a pet-friendly panic button inside microwaves, blenders and dryers in case a pet accidentally gets into one of those?
tl/dr: Dumb OP post is dumb.

I thought maybe one person might take this seriously. I really thought it would generate some similar funny suggestions.
Surely this would give it away: "Get Junior or Buster some fresh air while you finish shopping."
But hell no. OT posters apparently leave their pets and kids in hot cars enough to take this shite seriously.
Good lawd.

That, and the OT probably has a disproportionate amount of offspring named Junior or Buster.
If you want to give away your troll, go with a name like Quantavius, except throw in a few apostrophes instead of vowels - Q'antav'us.

With the exception of one Infiniti, he's had nothing but Audis as his primary driver for 20 years. It was either the 5000 or an early model A6. Novel concept, but it worked

That old Audi was a beast. too bad "Driving Miss Daisy" slammed into it at Esplanade Mall. my mom was devastated as insurance ended up totaling it due to frame damage
