100% sure I mailed the originally owed income tax.
This is the 1st I'm hearing that they have no record of receiving the income taxes and that I now owe nearly $1,500 in fines on top of the original amount.

USAA allows me to go back years on statements online.
Can your bank not do this?
I'm sure this is sort of like insurance, you may have sent the check, but it is your responsibility to make sure it is cashed and the tax paid.
