It's the fact the CPU can't score which is making it a little stupid. Wish there was a way to say have a different difficulty attack and defense.
if the CPU is getting a good amount of chances but just arent putting them away then lower human goalkeeping ability
if they just arent getting chances then lower human man marking

Are the expectations tied to difficulty when you start the manager mode like it used to be? Because the ones they give me are stupid hard on legendary, but it sounds like everyone has the same.
Boca want me in the South American cup final with in two years

but i also think it's harder to get the sack generally than it used to be.
Yea my second season with FCK I finished in the bottom 3 which would have had me in the playoff to stay in the Bundesliga 2
Luckily the year before I made the playoffs to get promoted but lost.

I want to do another MM at some point. Thinking about gunning for back to back promotions with a League One team.
There's an evil appeal for me to do it with MK Dons, make them the ultimate villains in the Premier League.

Need to fire up FIFA again. Was kicking arse, but haven't played in a month.

Started FUT this past weekend. Put a solid 10-12 hours into it. Up to division 8, won D9 and D10 titles. Am able to field majority gold labeled players in the high 70's - low 80's. Anyone have any money making tips other than just playing the games and completing most of the manager tasks? Are there any? I'm at the point where I'm trying to rest guys and having to sub in lesser talent just to give some guys a break. It's led me to be within 1 point of relegation with 1 game to play in D8...I've stocked my team basically through the Transfer List. Is there a better way? Are packs worth it, or filled with mainly busts?

You need to set two lineups and alternate them each game so there stamina stays at 100. Packs are usually filled with duds but you can make some coins off of them. Any regualr pack wont be worth your money but sometimes they come out with decent specials

Sure this has been discussed but handballs - do yall play with them on or off? I have them turned on but have noticed that they are rarely called on the CPU and more annoyingly the commentators don't ever say "handball" or anything like that when it occurs. Ball comes in from the corner, group of bodies go up to win it, ball comes out, ref blows whistle and is pointing at the spot. "Penalty" is all they say. No replay, nothing. My favorite was the one that happened last night - CPU hit a cross way too far across the box. Olssen is controlling it with nobody around him and dribbling towards the sideline. Ball is still bouncing and comes up and hits him in the hand - penalty. I think I just need to turn them off.

I have them on and have never had one called

Damn that's crazy. I probably see one every three or so games.
Oh and CWill, I used those OS sliders and the gameplay is more even now. Thanks.

I've never had a handball called either. Never moved the slider.

There is no slider for handball. Just on or off

Off. The first time I ever played FIFA, I played with them on, but I had three handballs called in the same match. Played another match and had two handballs. I'm sure it was some sort of bug. Pissed me off because I had absolutely no control over it, so I turned it off and have never played with them since.

I'm rolling with a 3-4-3 False 9 at MK Dons and am just trying to drown teams in goals right now. Defensively, we can be shaky, but my whole goal for this League One campaign is to rack up goals and drive the prices up of some of these younger players with potential.
I'm sure tGOATpionship will kick me in the teeth. But I've pulled off back-to-back promotions once before with Wigan, and it was some of the most fun I've ever had with my career.

My bad. Thought there was a slider for everything. I've never looked because it's never been an issue. Now that y'all mention it, it's pretty odd that I've never had one called.

Any of y'all just play regular ole online seasons? Any teams y'all enjoy playing with that aren't among the most commonly used? Tired of using the same ole teams

I used to play with Shakhtar and Sporting CP.

So in my first season in the Premier League with MK Dons (we finished 12th!), Spurs blew their lead on the title on the final day.
Spurs were up by a point on Chelsea and United in their final match against West Ham, who needed a point to finish in 5th and get Europa.
At the halftime of my match, I noticed Spurs were up 1-0 on West Ham while Chelsea were tied 1-1 with West Brom. (United were up 2-0 on Burnley.)
Late in my match, I get a "we have a goal to tell you about at White Hart Lane," and I see that Spurs conceded to West Ham in the 88th minute.
And sure enough, after my match is over, I see that Chelsea scored at some point in the second half to win 2-1 over West Brom and clinch the title.
So Spurs went from one hand on the title to third place within the matter of a few minutes. PEAK.
The final table went something like this...
1. Chelsea
2. Manchester United
3. Spurs
4. Arsenal
5. West Ham United
6. Manchester City (!!!)
7. Liverpool
8. Southampton
Then, in a crueler twist, United bought Harry Kane in the following summer.
(I made an additional save and took the Southampton job. Bought an 85-rated Marcus Rashford for a cool $45 million because United had Griezmann, Kane, Martial, Mkhitaryan, an ancient Zlatan and Ousmane Dembele .)
