Starting off with $40M+ but I have a lot of guys I can unload as well (Gomis, Tabanou, Naughton, Dyer....). Squad is huge. Plus a lot of younger guys that don't have much potential I can cash in on

Kicking off a Numancia career today. Been awhile since I played in Spain.
Squad is pretty shite and the transfer budget is only 2 million. I do have 26k for wages though.
Might be lucky to get promoted this year.

I've kicked around the idea of doing an RB Leipzig one, try to get them in the Champions League the first season like they did in reality.

Yeah, you can do it that way.
But I took a couple of hours late one night, just did the big league ones and saved them as a customized roster.

I just started fut after a few months. I can't keep the ball. My opponents just run up and take it from me and then they push me off the ball when they have it. What's going on?

FUT competition is much harder than regular seasons competition for some reason. I made it to division 4 with relative ease playing straight up seasons. I struggled to get to division 7 and maintain there in FUT. I've kind of slacked off over the past few weeks so that's where I'm stuck for now, but I'd rather the struggle and play FUT. FUT is very fun in FIFA, IMO, and I hate it in Madden.

Like I have 65% possession 80+ percent passing but around the box I can't score and get it stolen every time I try to shoot. My opponent wins every 50/50 in the final 3rd and my CBs run away from his attackers with the ball. I lose 3-1. His keeper had 9 saves.

So in my Numancia career, I got a leg 1 win in the Copa del Rey at the Bernabeu 2-1.
Real had an own goal and I converted a penalty. We'll see if I can survive over 2 legs.

So the August 2018 transfer window was quite active for Swansea. So I already talked about how Werner was too expensive and I got Iheanacho instead. Welllll....

If I need to sit a striker I bring in Pulisic and play him next to Gylfi. Also still like the 4-3-3 attack formation if I feel like I can push for more goals and not be as defensive. Still playing them out to see which has the best balance for me

Eliminated Real in the Copa. They beat me 1-0 in Leg 2 for a 2-2 agg, but I advanced on away goals.

So found another career mode glitch. I have an objective to make $3M in youth player sales. Made a sale for over $1M but the percentage to reach the objective never moved off 0%. Googled it and found a forum that pretty much confirms it never moves off 0%. So take note - don't make an effort to reach this objective. Hope it's never a critical one for anyone.

Playing against Stoke in my career mode. Fabianski is injured so Nordfeldt is in goal having an ok game so far. Then a long deep cross comes into the box. Mawson chests it towards the end line a few yards clear of the goal. Nordfeldt is right there. Now see if you can figure out what he does next:
A) He collects the ball with his hands as he is clearly allowed to do
B) He takes a touch which then let's me clear it out of bounds
C) He does nothing and let's the ball go out for a corner
D) He acrobatically dives to his left to head the ball straight back into the box right into the path of an onrushing Arnautovic who has an open net to dribble into
Hint: D. It was fricking D
