Go to settings on the tv and maake sure there are no updates for your system.

Unused to get that message on mine, but when game starts it worked. I also ran a hardwire cat5 from my router to my main tv just to make sure wireless connection wasn't an issue.

No problems now

I have Apple TV. The ESPN3 on WatchESPN APP doesn't work anymore. It does on my laptop though. Gonna have to run a HDMI from my laptop to TV to watch the game. Don't know why things have changed.

For the uninitiated (me), is there any reason for me to get ROKU other than LSU baseball? I don't care about MLB or the NBA. Anything else I want it for other than ESPN?

I have a samsung smart tv and the when I go to watch espn on the web browser, I get a message that I need to update adobe flash. However, when I try to update adobe flash, the webpage says my operating system or browser are not supported. Is this the same issue you have?

Trying my new roku for first time for ESPN app.

My wife loves it because she watches Netflix, etc on the roku.

It probably doesn't support the software you need to stream it through the smart tv. Just hook a laptop/PC up to it that has an HDMI cable. Browse to WatchESPN on PC, click the game, set your TV to the HDMI source that's plugged up to PC...problem solved.

We mostly use it for watchespn, Hulu, Netflix, and amazon video. My son watches disney/nick Jr. Shows on it also. There are 100s of other apps, but I don't use them as much. You can go to roku.com to see what they have to offer. AppleTV and Amazon Fire have a lot of the same apps, but each one is a little different.

It's a pretty cheap investment to see how you like it. You can get a fire stick for about $35 and roku for just a little more than that.

I have the solution for anyone with a smart TV and wanting to watch the game.

Load up your youtube app on your smart tv.. then in the search bar, search for "beaudoosk"

then click on the only stream you see live.

Voila

I thought I did that.

If you did, then you dont need to go to your browser.

Just go to the app

Or connect your laptop to your tv with an hdmi cable. Whatever is on your screen will show on the tv.

I use an Apple HDMI adapter for my iPhone or iPad and connect it to the TV.

If you haven't realized by now, smart tvs are pretty dumb.

Terrible user experience compared to third party devices.
