Redfish is awesome, get the crab on top.

They have the dry aged steaks on the menu all the time now, they're really good, as is the spinalos (sp?) steak.

Whatever the fish special of the night is usually awesome as well.

App wise the crabmeat cheesecake is really good.

They make a really good old fashioned, as long as those are flowing with some wine with the main meal, you'll have a great time

I went once when they first opened in Lafayette and I do remember the Cheesecake app. Can't remember what my entrée was though.

Think that's the only picture you've ever posted without a parish product in it

For entrees, Fish Katie. Their steaks. And I also enjoy their Veal Michael.

For starters, Shrimp Corndogs. An absolute must.

Ruffin has acquired a very nice wine collection so I suggest diving into it. Bring one of your own, offer your server a taste and buy one. It is a nice way to explore and show them what you like.

And unlike some posters, the sommeliers at Ruffinos won't push the warehouse stuff. They think out of the box.

I always give the specials a look. The ribeye cap is one of the better steaks I've ever had. Beef spare ribs are really good.

Gotta try the crabmeat cheesecake (appetizer menu). It's special.

Spinalis Dorsi...I've been seeing a lot of places serving the center of the ribeye lately and using the trimmed cap for tartare and I always think to myself "why!?!" It's one hell of a tartare actually but I would like the option of an 8 oz portion seared off.

Hands down my favorite cut of steak.

Sometimes they have a Friday lunch special called a knuckle sandwich and it is all lobster claw meat on buttered toasted bun

Can't go wrong with the celebration salad and ribeye cap. The bar makes some nice, stiff drinks.
