Who is your favorite Avenger, and why?

I'd have to go with Stark/Iron Man. I'm an engineer so I can relate to his innovations. He's entertaining. Iron Man 1 was also my first experience with any of the Avengers... I didn't get into them in the comic books as a kid.
I'm bringing this up because the topic came up at a gathering last weekend. They mentioned they liked Captain America the best because he's "classy." I do realize he has depth to his character, but it's not enough to make him my favorite.
Keep in mind I'm only going off of the films here. If your opinion draws from the comic books and not the films, please explain.

Thor because he is ripped, badass god who kills monsters with a hammer, and gets to get with natalie portman.

Cap.
Honorable, noble and unwavering in doing the right thing (and, being able to identify what the "right thing" is).

Captain America. Reason: I'm not a communist.

Captain America - MCU or Comics, doesn't matter.
His focus on standing up for people, for believing in the right thing, having faith in others, etc.
He has the best story right now, so from a narrative perspective he's the most interesting.

The Hulk, basically because I like watching him destroy shite.

MCU - Cap. America because he's the natural leader of the group. And Black Panther because he's new, interesting and I think he has the most potential for story building.
Comics - You just as well ask who your favorite Marvel character is (outside the X-men)because pretty much everyone popular has been an Avenger.

Ant Man because I can relate to having super small attributes.

Thor, because I'm a minor Norse god and can relate to having divine abilities.
But really I just think he's just the most powerful and his abilities lend themselves to movies which can be much larger in scope than those without him.

I disagree. Wolverine is a great avenger but I think superman is the best avenger ever.
