LSU needs to retire Mike now

Let him move into a zoo or some other tiger habitat where he can spend his last years in peace. He needs a stress free environment

He has a better habitat now than he'd have in 99% of the zoos. But the trailer business at games should end for good, with this Tiger and any future one. There's no need for it except to gratify ignoramuses.

I will admit that my comment above about "retiring" Mike was going overboard, but what is the point of having a mascot if he's not going to the games? If it's too cruel to take him into the stadium, it's too cruel to have him in a habitat on campus. My problem isn't with the tiger, it's with whoever on the vet staff decided to quit loading him up. Their story is BS and no intelligent person buys it.
