Just say no to neck beard.

When I have a beard I shave my neck every two or three days. Grew the beard for about 3-4 months.

March of 2014. I grew it out over the winter then shaved it off in the spring. My wife and daughter said they liked it better with a beard so I grew it back and kept it trimmed short through the summer. Now I trim about every other week and shave my neck once a week.

A couple years or so. Clean cut now due to working in a Hydrogen Sulfide field. H2S is a nasty mother fricker.

I'm a pencil pusher and my boss doesn't give a rats what my beard looks like, maybe because I'm a good worker?

The biggest annoyance was my mustache was easily in my mouth and I'd get all kinds of food in it and the beard.

Absolutely - I got my stache out to 7 months and it's just now getting the natural part away from my mouth. I can finally eat burgers and chicken wings like a normal human.

I'm currently 3 months in without a shave.

Trying to decide what to do because something needs to be done. It's looking Jeremiah Johnson-ish.

My original LaTech student ID was referred to as my "Jesus Picture". It was back before digital imaging and the film had a flaw giving me a glowing aura behind me. Along with shoulder length wavy/curly golden blonde hair and a full beard it really did look a like the classical old Renaissance paintings.

I had that beard for about 3 years (1 before arriving at Tech).

What do you consider shaving?

If slightly trimming the underbrush on the neck occasionally counts then I went around 18 months. If not, then at least 24, maybe 30 months.
