Spinoff from the other thread. Anyone still playing Eye 2's, DCI's, Hogan Apex, Big Bertha's, etc? Thought about dusting off my Eye 2's and seeing how well I can hit them

I game some ping I3's, but there's no way that's the oldest here. Never hit the eye 2's but it has to be one of the highest rated irons. Everyone loves it.

I've got a Yonex driver from the early '90's in the bag, but the bag hasn't come out of the closet in about ten years.

I'm hoping to retire them after this golf season. I've had them for 15 years but have mostly been a pretty casual player till a year ago. Got a hole in one with the 3 iron last summer though.

I was a bag boy in college (graduated less than 5 years ago) and you would be surprised the amount of people that still play eye 2's. Very good clubs.

I still use my dad's hand-me-down Taylormades from the mid 90's. Going to be getting some new ones in the next year or so, but they work just fine.

edit: Can anyone tell me what year the Taylormade SuperSteel Burner R-80 came out? I assume mid-90's but I don't know.

If I still played I'd pull out my Eye 2's. I also have a set of forged Hogan Medallions.

I played hogan apex irons until about 2 years ago. They made me a much better ball striker

I actually just upgraded from a set of Big Bertha X-12's. I think they were about 18 years old. I bought them from callaway pre-owned in "like new" condition about 5 years ago. They served me well while learning.
