Dude was giving the tough talk after his Kofi Annan die. He was saying no one to get between him and his revenge. At the end of the movie, he took the moral high ground out of nowhere, saying revenge was "eating" him up inside. Revenge is the best reason and justification to kill someone
His storyline ran parallel with Zemo's. Zemo's motivation was that the avengers killed his family, and in turn his revenge killed Black Panthers father, who in turn tried to kill the man he thought was responsible out of vengeance. Black Panther, to me, was one of the better parts of the film. Him standing there with Zemo at the end, its almost as if he sympathized with him, even knowing that Zemo was the one who was responsible for his fathers death. But Zemo apologized, basically humanizing him and putting perspective on the whole good vs. evil aspect of the movie. Black Panther realized that the same vengeance he had in his heart was the same vengeance that led to his fathers death.

I agree, but I thought that scene was beautifully shot by Snyder. I thought it was a great idea to do it in the opening credits. One of the few scenes that I enjoyed in BvS.
As for CW, it was really good. The Russos are the best thing going for Marvel right now. What a bright future those guys have.

The only thing I didn't really like about the movie was the camera work for the fight scene in Lagos. All of the early action scenes were shot way too close up I thought and it was (intentionally) difficult to gain perspective on what all was going on, especially with Black Widow and Cap.
NPR said that the scene was rotoscoped. I would take that to mean that they used CGI over all of the action instead of just the shots that required full CGI. That's why that fight was flickering and had afterimages throughout. The effect was intended but it did stick out to me a bit.

This. I have full confidence in them in that they won't pull an Age of Ultron with Infinity War.

I just got out a couple of hours ago and I loved it.
Black Panther is a personal favorite of mine, so I was very curious to see how they would portray him. It was a slow build for him, but ultimately I loved the direction they took the character.
All of the characters were handled well overall. A great balance of humor, action, drama, and suspense.
I agree with the poster who said the final fight scene was intense and filled with rage and passion. For a second or two I really thought one of them might kill the other.
I loved the way they handled spider-man. I am looking forward to his stand alone movie now.
5 out of 5 stars for me.

Did anybody else want Tony to kill Bucky at the end?
When Tony said, He killed my mom, I was like, FINISH HIM!

One nitpick I will say is that Rhodey's near death/crippling didn't hit as emotionally hard as it could have.
It was sort of just a plot device to end the fight. It could have been used to make the Avengers reflect about what they were really fighting for. At what cost? And is it worth it?

I was so done with Stark by that point, I was hoping they'd cripple him and put him out of the superhero business. Other than his visit to Queens, he was a bitch for the entire movie.
I was 100% with Cap on every decision.

I understood his decision to turn on Bucky though. Can't say I blame him.

Great movie. I think Winter Soldier was better, but this was pretty close.

Yea, I understand his rage in the heat of the moment, but he is such a selfish prick. Stark is all about Stark and when he feels a certain way about an issue, he tries to bully everyone with his intellect into doing what he thinks they should do.
Cap doesn't put up with his shite. Tony feels bad because some lady told him he was responsible for her son's death. Tony should have looked her in the eye and said "Ma'am I'm sorry. I live with these decisions every day of my life, but if we don't act, we are dust in the galaxy and your son would still be dead as well as every other person's son in the world." Cap is upset he can't protect everyone, but he realizes he has to live with that decision, but can still see the bigger picture. If the Avengers aren't there at all, then the world is screwed and everyone loses. There won't be anything to avenge.
But I know that wouldn't make a good movie. But Tony with his fricking emo personality was already depressed because Pepper dropped his arse. The fact he wasn't happy to begin with didn't help matters. Pepper wanted him to put down the Iron Man suit and this was just a convenient excuse he could use to do it part-time and have the best of both worlds. Just a selfish shite.
But RDJ is perfect in the role. Damn, he's great.

I definitely thought Stark might die when Cap drove his shield into the arc reactor on Stark's chest. Tony depends on that thing to live, and it was clearly damaged. I was thinking, Downey must want out and this is how they'll do it.
Posted on 5/6/16 at 6:26 pm to PsychTiger
He doesn't need it anymore
Posted on 5/6/16 at 6:27 pm to PsychTiger
Stark hasn't relied on the arc reactor since the end of IM3 when he had it removed. No?
Posted on 5/6/16 at 6:27 pm to PsychTiger
He had his arc reactor taken out in Iron Man 3

How does Black Panther have his powers or are we not supposed to know that yet?
Posted on 5/6/16 at 6:54 pm to arktiger28
Well for sure Captain America is in the wrong against Tony because he did not let Tony make Winter Soldier answer for his crime. The insanity defense holds no water.
Other than that, I think the entire movie should have been more spiderman all the time. I love how they gauge Spiderman power and ability up against the Avengers. As strong as cap, agile, flexible, etc etc. Everyone that tangle with Spiderman did not want anymore afterward.
The thing about Black Panther is he have the same ability as Bucky and his suit gives him the extra omph. I am guessing the Black Panther movie would be a continuation of Civil War and he's not alone.
As for Wakanda, in the comic, it's one of the most advance nation on the planet. It just so happen to be situated in Africa and surrounded by war lords. I wonder if they are going to let Black Panther hook up with INvisible Woman again. They did in the comics :D

Yeah when Stark said he had an electromagnetic headache...I was wondering if they were disregarding IM3

I figured it was related to Scarlet Witch, but I wasn't aware if they only implied at that or if they showed it and I just missed it.
They hinted at their relationship several times in the movies so I figured that was what had happened. It was a nitpick deal.
