Any good recommendations for dinner in and around Beverly Hills/Hollywood?

Won a trip for wife and me through work next week. 4 days in LA staying at the Beverly Hilton. They are taking us to a suite at the Dodgers game, a studio tour, and dinner one night in Santa Barbara on the beach. Any good recommendations for dinner in and around Beverly Hills?

Bourdain's favorite LA restaurant is In-N-Out. Try that out.

When we went, we didn't really make it a foodie trip. I can recommend driving Mulholland Drive, it's a nice scenic drive. Also, Reagan Presidential Library is awesome. The old Air Force One, which you can walk through, is inside a hanger with giant windows overlooking the valley. The walk up to the Hollywood sign is very scenic, as well.

Yeah we are doing the hike up to the Hollywood sign. We are doing Mastros steakhouse one night.
I know it's not known for food but there are lots of good restaurants around there.

I've stayed at the Beverly Hilton before. Relatively short walk to Rodeo Dr., like 10 minutes. Check out the Ivy restaurant in Beverly Hills, likely to see a celebrity or 2 there.

This would be my advice as well. Go for brunch if you can.

I liked La Brea tar pits. Not many womens do.
The Reagan Library is good, I went to Nixon's as well.
LA is a concrete/asphalt jungle.
Rodeo Drive for the lady.

When you're doing the Hollywood hike (good hike for being in a city), try and go past the Griffith Observatory. It's been in a shite ton of movies and TV, most notably Rebel Without a Cause and also a great episode of the Wonder Years.

I took this photo during our hike. The observatory is on the left. It's a really nice area. Watch out for horse shite

I was terribly disappointed with nobu, I've heard matsuhisa is better (same chef).
Mastros is in Beverly Hills and is the best steakhouse in LA.
