It doesn't just impact the oil industry though. That is the problem I have with the people that praise this movement. It means the college girl waiting on tables loses her job too because business is slow at the restaurant. If it was Cory and Blake that spend 110% of their income I would be more ok with it.

Yeah, you're right, what was I thinking. Jobs are everywhere to be found. Silly me.

Thanks for the link, good read. I'm neither in the oil & gas induatry nor an economist. Just a common sense guy that hates to see our country held hostage to foreign producers.

I don't want to hear any complaining when a heavy hitter out of the oil field comes in and takes your job.

LOTS of talent is in US oil production and they will be looking for jobs.

Gas jumped over 30 cents today around here. Totally ridiculous. Went up 1.10 the past 2 months

No it doesn't. Waiters work on tips and most restaurants are always looking for servers because of the high turnover in the industry.

I have stated multiple times what I do yet you continue to be ignorant. How can I be a lawn boy if I work from home? I have subcontractors in multiples states that do that shite (and a lot of other tasks) while I make fun of you on TD.com. BTW, I have work in your neck of the woods if you need a job. If not, I am sure we will be maintaining your property for your mortgagee soon if oil prices stay down.

Do you have a TWIC card? I need someone in BR and Laffy to go inspect some equipment at some plants. Just trying to throw you a bone since you aren't very good at your other job.

I hope all those Prius owners saved their money so I don't have to hear their bitching about high oil prices.

Oil has been rallying since the Doha meeting. The US was on track two years ago to be the world's leading oil producer by 2020. Texas, alone, can unleash the amount onto the market the Saudi's have been threatening just by themselves. No way, SA can fund their proxy wars and take care of its welfare nation without something giving.

"Platts Analytics research shows that Texas alone could introduce 1.25 MMB/d of oil into the global market and can do so in a short space of time – on average just 30 days. That's more oil than the Saudis have threatened to flood the market with and all very close to the world's top refining hub."

I think it stabilizes by this time next year closer to $60. China and India's demands will continue to grow.
