I don't know, but I have seen a lot of people get away with awful things with seemingly no negative consequences.

Yup, Karma is real. I have 5 huge rock chips/spider cracks in my windshield. All on the passenger side were the wife sits.... Do you need more proof?

Sadly, belief these days is underpinned by a sweltering fear of consequence (i.e., if you don't do all of these things, you will burn in hell and forever be in misery)

For me, my personal opinion is that anything living on this planet, whether it be a fish, tree, a person or any living thing is here to contribute to the next generation of lives.

Living things, by large and small, seem to be inherently "good". We can sit here and talk all day until we are blue in the face about various animals slaughtering their peers/young and all that bullshite,

In short, I don't benchmark my life around "what goes around comes around". Nor do I fear the reaper.

I try to keep an agnostic mindset to help avoid getting caught up in all of the political agendas

All in all, this was a fantastic thread

I don't believe in the mysticism of karma on the sole premise there are tons of successful people out there that obtained that success by nefarious means. I do believe that kindness and honesty is paid back to you over time just due to the fact that, though your kind act pales in comparison to the negative things that go on every minute, you will eventually be the benefactor of another's kindness. It's karma but less mystical and more mathematical.

Look at OJ Simpson if you need proof of karma.
