Ok but neither team is trading up all the way to #12 if that's the case. Both will wait until the later teens where teams that need QBs will get jumped. It's common sense not to overpay unless you're receiving a top 2 pick apparently

Pretty much out of time on a Wilkerson trade. He would have to take a physical and negotiate a new contract. Don't see how that gets done the evening before the draft.

Jets will never sniff a first. A 2nd is fair IMO.
I would swap 1sts, and give them our 3rd for Wilk.

I was more or less referencing the 1st for Wilk chatter their GM keeps pumping.
A slide from 12 to 20 carries 3rd round value, throw in our 3rd and I think it is pretty close to high end 2nd round value. Probably their best offer considering the pending contract he is due.

Well Loomis had the opportunity to make this happen last year before the draft when the Jets were shopping Wilkerson. Remember they were going to draft Leonard Williams but the asking price was too much from the Jets.
