What is the latest and greatest onboard that won't break me.

We have a Minn Kota. Seems to work fine.

have been pleased with the Bass Pro brand of on board chargers...
Last boat had one for years and it was still working when we sold new.
New rig came with a guest on board and lasted less than 2 years... went back with a BPS brand and its been working great.

I have the Cabelas 2 bank and have been pleased. I believe it is made by ProMariner. I wanted the 3 bank but it was a little too long to fit where I wanted it in the boat.

I've had (2) of the 3-bank pro-mariner, Cabela's-branded chargers go bad on me. Warranty replaced the first with the second. Neither lasted 2 years. I had a 2-bank Guest for small boat that was cheap, and has now replaced the 3-bank. It's about 7 years old now and has never had any issues.
My intent is to try Minn-Kota when I get around to going back to a 3-bank

Ranger rigs their boats with Dual-Pro.
Bullet rigs theirs with Pro-Mariner (Bullet used Dual-Pro up until recently).
Bass Cat uses NOCO.
"Choose your pick."

My regret when I bought my boat was I didn't put a 3 bank charger, went with a 2 bank and it limited the trolling motor to 81 instead of 101.

my 3 bank from Cabela's has lasted so far for a couple of years...I'll let you know when it bites the dust...
daughter and SIL gave it to me to stop from hearing me bitch about moving the marine charger from one to the other...getting one of those is the best thing that ever happened...

Dual Pro 30 amp Sportsman Series.
I've had that in last 2 boats and each has been great.

I've had a Minn Kota 3 bank from Academy in my boat for 9 years and never had a lick of trouble. It's not the fastest thing. I think it's 5 amps per bank, but it fully charges overnight after a day on the water. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
