A nice stress free afternoon of footy. Pulling for The black cats to get some points off Arsenal.

Did Yedlin get away with a handball?

Yeah, thought there was one on the other end just before that. Both had zero time to react and were in close. Per's looked worse than it was.

If Zenit beats Rostov and CSKA draw or lose, we go top of the table!

Mesut Özil has now created the most chances (135) by one player in a single Premier League season ever. 18 have been converted. [@OptaJoe]

Man, that's just terrible. When they flashed the stat saying Giroud has been scoreless in his last 13 (!!!) BPL appearances, I was speechless

Levante - Athletic, 5 a.m. (beIN Connect)

Levante dropped 2 huge points in their quest to avoid relegation.

They were up 2-0 before Bilbao got '88 and '90+1 goals to force a draw.

Giroud's drought coincides with Wellbeck's return. He hasn't played as much.

Another Wenger season. Loads of talent, full of promise on Boxing Day, but another ho-hum Top-4 season. Think it will be his last.

Absolutely painful to watch Arsenal in front of goal right now

Giroud's been a disaster today
