Is there a reason we didn't pinch hit for Reid?

Seems like Pap or Wofford would have been a better option. I didn't catch the beginning of the game, so forgive me if either of these players were unavailable.

Nope they were both fine. Wondered the same thing. Everyone sitting around me thought Wofford would make an appearance in that last sequence of events. Never happened. Such an annoying loss.
Aside: do y'all think Valek is too nice to bean that shortstop after he went nuts on that last play? dude deserves a FB to the ribs.

Reid's hit at the end was a screamer over second. They played for the pull on that play. Not his fault. A base hit any other time.

They are better hitters based on what exactly? Reid is hitting 282 which higher than woffords 260 and papierski at 250. The game wasn't lost because Reid wasn't replaced in that last at bat.

WRONG!! Maybe Wofford, but the only hitter pap is better than right now is Dawson. Pap is not a good hitter at all.

Sure he has a better average than pap, but that's a tough spot for a true freshman.

Because Paul Mainieri and ESPN hate LSU and Les Miles has lost control of both situations and has thrown each under the bus.

Wofford and pap are marginal players like reid. Pinch hitting there is based on preference.

Funny I didn't hear you calling for a PH for Reid in game 1 when he started the game with 2 hits and a walk. Or last Sunday when he had 3 hits at Mizzou.
Everyone loves to play coach after they see the results play out. If the MSU SS is playing in the 6-hole Reid's soft liner gets through the middle and we're all sitting here talking about how clutch he was.

Was he up to bat at the end of those games with a chance to tie it? No? That's probably why I didn't call for a pinch hit.
