Who makes a decent lawn mower?

I need a new mower and I could use some recommendations on decent brands. I know lawn boy use to make a decent mower in the past but it looks like they are junk nowadays. I have a small yard so I just need a simple push mower. I'm leaning towards a Honda.

I've had a Touro with a Honda engine for 10 years now. It's the best lawnmower I've ever owned.

I concur on the Honda engine.
I have a Troy Built with a Honda engine. 10 yrs now and still starts right up like its new.

Any set of Mexican husband and wife have a shot at it.

The one from home depot with the Honda engine. I've had mine for 7 years and she starts on the first pull every time.

I have an actual Honda lawnmower and it's great. I bought from a dedicated lawn equipment store and not from a big box as I've been told the lawnmowers sold at Home Depot, etc even though they say Honda and look the same, are NOT the same quality as the lawnmower bought from an actual dealer.

For a small yard, just by a $100 one. I got a yard machine from Walmart 10 years ago. Still going strong, just keep it out the weather

Bought a Toro a little over 1 year ago and had nothing but problems with the carburetor. I sold it and now have a Honda that's made it longer than the Toro did without problems. Both are basic self propelled mowers. Toro was front wheel and Honda was rear wheel which hasn't seemed to make a difference to me in ease of use.

Got a inexpensive, $200 Troy Bilt and have really enjoyed it. I've got a small yard, a little less than 1/2 an acre and it does the job really well.
As mentioned before, just keep it out of the weather.
Here's a link with reviews if you ever want to compare with others

Old Troy built with Honda motor works great last 7 years. Still cranks right up.

Toro. They're beasts.
I use the frick out of mine. Make it cut shite a push mower has no business fricking with and it still doesn't skip a beat. Two plus years of use and abuse and she cranks up on the first quarter pull. Not to mention cuts perfectly level still. I highly recommend.

I bought a Husqvarna with Honda motor from Stine 3 years ago and no complaints. Starts first pull every time.

I got the Honda HRR216VLA at Ascension Equipment. Very nice for the money. Paid about 500 a couple of years ago.

Toro mowers are hard to beat for the price. Buy the commercial ones, not the cheap stuff from Home Depot, lowes, etc

Very true.
Old story in the link, but it speaks to the quality of big box store equipment.
